Feel the beat while you rhythmically flow through a playful, self-love, self-care, serenity sequence to African beats from around the world. These (Focused Intense Training) classes are designed to give you an effective high-intensity workout. We focus on exercises for developing all-around functional upper, lower body and core strength while moving with proper technique.This class is designed to help you perform better in many areas of your life. Whether it be weight loss, better sleep, walking with better posture, going from jogging to running, from running to sprinting or lifting heavier. Our goal is to get FIT, move better, see results and feel accomplished.

 

FOUNDATION

This class emphasizes proper form and alignment in our yoga postures. A strong foundation creates stability and allows for freedom of movement and expression in the body. Foundational yoga poses and pranayama (breathing exercises) are taught at a slower pace for deeper understanding. Inquiry and discussion are encouraged. Open level.

 

HIMALAYAN HATHA YOGA 

Hatha is a strong and supportive practice that works through the whole body, cleansing and balancing right and left sides. Yogi Ashokananda’s Himalayan Hatha is based on the traditional principles of the ancient yoga practice, emphasizing alignment, mindfulness, and the breath through longer holds, special sequencing, and individual attention, allowing you to develop your practice at your own pace. A typical Himalayan Hatha Yoga class includes ample warm-up, strengthening sun salutations, a specially curated sequence of postures with breath work interwoven, and a rejuvenating relaxation. Open to all levels.

 

ADULTS CAPOEIRA 

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, acrobatics, and music. The movements taught in Capoeira class develop cardio; strength; agility; flexibility; and rhythm. You will also develop a beginning Portuguese vocabulary by learning the movements and the music of Capoeira, as well as the origins and history of the art form. Capoeira is a high-intensity practice that gives you the opportunity to express yourself in a creative and positive way!

RESTORE YOUR CHI

Wind down your week with the perfect cocktail of Restorative Yoga postures to gently open the body and relax the nervous system with Chi Gung movements to keep the breath flowing while re-balancing your prana and re-circulating your Chi.
This class is the antidote to the accumulation of digital and emotional toxins by re-balancing your brain & spine vibration.

 

VINYASA FLOW  

Vinyasa flow classes are structured to move students from posture to posture with focus on breath and alignment. Our classes are challenging with modifications to support all levels, ending with intentional rest and stillness. A perfect way to create balance and breath with mindful movement. Open level. 

SOULFUL FLOW

Energize your body and spirit with this inspiring and invigorating Vinyasa Flow Class. This Vinyasa class will allow you to connect to your inner self through movement, music and sound with a combination of innovative and classical sequencing with a focus on renewing the spirit, filling you with energy, love and compassion. Open Level.

YOGA & MEDITATION 

Unwind from the workday with gentle yoga and meditation. In yoga, the asanas (postures) are meant to strengthen and detoxify the body in order to maintain optimal health and to prepare for meditation.  We will begin the class with a basic hatha-based sequence to stretch and tone the body, connect with the breath, and quiet the mind. Pranayama, or breathing practices, may be included. The class will conclude with a guided meditation as we tune into our inner experience and deepen our connection with ourselves – and, ultimately, with each other.  This class is open to everyone, beginner to advanced practitioner; no experience of yoga or meditation is necessary. 

FIT YOGA 

 Move through variations of Sun Salutations while we incorporate martial arts exercises, TRX suspension training, TRX Rip Trainer, light kettlebells, light dumbbells, balancing and coordination exercises. This class will improve your bodies performance for real-life movements and activities. All are welcome. Open Level.
